A new start...

I think I will never stop apologizing for going missing and abandoning my blog. I've thought to maybe quit blogging officially but... I don't think I could ever let it go. I know I probably blog less than 10 posts a year now but I would like to keep this space of mine, where I can come back to and pour everything in my when I want to. No pressure, no deadline.

Just like now, I am back! God knows how long would this last me before I am missing in action again. Probably right after this post but what matter is... I feel like writing recently. Like a lot.

Then work has been taking its toll on me. I've officially started working for a month now and I feel like I have no time to do anything else, moreover blog. Things has changed a lot in the past two months, explained the title of this post "A new start..."

I have also recently just moved out of Puchong after staying there since I've moved to KL almost three years ago. It's a big change but definitely a good one. Journey to work every morning has taken at least 30 minutes to an hour lesser and I can go home anytime now without having to worry about the traffic.

That's my view from the balcony up there in the picture, can't lie that I did not make the photo looks a little more awesome than the original view is. But it is still quite awesome to wake up to blue sky every morning, I'm definitely enjoying my new hub.

There's still a lot to do in the place to make it feel even more cozy than it already is. I think I might need more storage space and definitely a curtain. I have already got myself a stand fan because I saw it when I was getting my new fridge and I think it look pretty cool. Oh FYI, my new place has no fan at all, hence why I need a stand fan. But I'm not complaining since I found this cool stand fan at Tesco.

I'm still  a little excited on how to decorate the place but I don't think my bank account is any on the bright side for this. Also, it's only been a few days but I'm already half dead with the fact that I have no internet at home. I guess I really just can't live without the almighty awesome internet after all.

Stella'Lexy X GlassesOnline.com.my Voucher!

GlassesOnline.com.my is generous to have a little something for me and my readers here. I have been contacted two weeks ago and they have offered me a free pair of colored lens as well as a voucher code for my readers. Since I wear colored lens a lot myself, I've decided to do a little review.

GlassesOnline.com.my actually have a lot of different choices for colored lenses, they carry a lot of brands and different series. I was free to choose any of the colored lens worth RM50 or below and I have decided on Blincon Elegance Topaz Brown. I'm actually surprised when I was going through the pages, I almost have difficulty in choosing because of the wide range.

Frequency: 3 months
Material: HEMA
Water Content: 42%

Design: I'm quite please with the design as I think it is quite natural and not too over the top. The color is noticeable but could be passing as natural at the same time. The diameter is huge, I'm not sure how big is the diameter but as you can see from the picture, comparing the before and after is such huge difference.

Comfort: The comfort level of this is consider quite high as when I put it on, I wouldn't be able to feel it much in my eyes. I think that pretty well means it's really comfortable and I could last for at least 6 hours before my eyes get dry.

Now... GlassesOnline.com.my actually hold a lot of different brands, not only colored lenses but also glasses, shades and contact lenses. They have brands like Ray Ban, Starck Eyes, Paul Smith, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, ChloƩ, D&G, Dior, Prada, Versace, Vivienne Westwood, Tag Heuer and so much more!

Being the generous one, they are now offering a RM20 off voucher for my readers! Terms and conditions as stated in the voucher. Now who needs the new pair of glasses, shades, or contact lenses, hop over now [here]! Other than that, they offer FREE DELIVERY when you make a purchase with FREE 30 DAYS RETURN if you don't like the product. Lastly, they have LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE and 100% ORIGINAL BRANDS!

Aren't they awesome already? Check out their Facebook page for more informations and updates.

JJ Lifestyle Cafe, Ipoh

There isn't much lifestyle cafe in Ipoh, at least not really good one. Surprisingly the previous trip that I went back to Ipoh, my friend brought me to this new place. I'm not sure how new it is but I think it's quite new considering that it seems like not many who know about it.

I was a little skeptical due to it's location because it is located at the shop row where my former college is. It's not exactly a busy location especially on the weekend, in fact it used to be really quiet. It's located at Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun; formerly known as Jalan Kampar at the shop row opposite the AMC High School.

We went there on a Sunday and I did not expect it to be so fully packed at 3pm. Most seats are taken with customers of all ages. I think it's gonna get really popular soon since this is really a good place. I'm sorry I didn't get to take much pictures around the place because I'm uncomfortable with too many people there.

That's basically how it looks like from the picture above with a few others quirky decorations here and there. The menu is written on the blackboard behind the counter while cakes and pastry are displayed at the counter. From what I remember, they only offer some sandwiches or burgers, cakes and some pastries. I think their menu changes everyday.
We ordered two slices of cakes to try and normally I would not expect the food to taste good at such kind of cafe. Yet, surprisingly (I think there's a lot of surprising event in this post) the cakes taste good. Especially the crepe cake. I think it's called the signature crepe cake or something and it has nuts inside. I'm normally not a fan of nuts and also crepe cake but this really taste good. I'll put it on the must-try list for everyone of you.

We have only stayed there for a short while as the shop is too packed and it was a little difficult for us to talk. I would like it better if the crowd ain't that huge and loud but can't deny that it's a nice place to drop by and hang out. My post ain't doing them justice because I did not get pictures of the whole ambience of the shop, but trust my words, it's a nice place especially for one that is located in Ipoh.

Also, I couldn't find much information regarding JJ Lifestyle Cafe from the internet. They did not have any website nor Facebook page. Here is all the information that I can find, do drop by if anyone of you are from Ipoh or going on a trip there.
